DependencyObject.SetValueBase Method

Sets the value of the DependencyProperty to the specified Object, bypassing the SetValue.

Namespace:  System.Workflow.ComponentModel
Assembly:  System.Workflow.ComponentModel (in System.Workflow.ComponentModel.dll)
public void SetValueBase(
	DependencyProperty dependencyProperty,
	Object value
)

Parameters

dependencyProperty
Type: System.Workflow.ComponentModel.DependencyProperty
The DependencyProperty to be set to the Object.
value
Type: System.Object
The Object that becomes the value of the DependencyProperty.
ExceptionCondition
ArgumentNullException

dependencyProperty is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

This method is useful inside the SetValue override implementation. Typically, the SetValue override code would do some custom logic before calling the SetValueBase method.

For setting a SetValue override, PropertyMetadata can be used in DependencyProperty, Register, or RegisterAttached calls.
