Occurs when the input system reports an underlying drag event with this element as the drag target.

Namespace:  System.Windows
Assembly:  PresentationCore (in PresentationCore.dll)
XMLNS for XAML: http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation, http://schemas.microsoft.com/netfx/2007/xaml/presentation
public event DragEventHandler PreviewDragEnter
<object PreviewDragEnter="DragEventHandler" .../>

Identifier field

Routing strategy

Tunneling

Delegate

DragEventHandler

  • The corresponding bubbling event is DragEnter.

  • Override OnPreviewDragEnter to implement class handling for this event in derived classes.

This event creates an alias for the DragDrop.PreviewDragEnter attached event for this class, so that PreviewDragEnter is part of the class members list when UIElement3D is inherited as a base element. Event handlers that are attached to the PreviewDragEnter event are attached to the underlying DragDrop.PreviewDragEnter attached event and receive the same event data instance.

PreviewDragEnter is introduced in the .NET Framework version 3.5. For more information, see .NET Framework Versions and Dependencies.
