Remarks

A manipulation is a real-time, physical action that is applied to an object to change its state. A manipulation is interpreted to scale, rotate, or translate the UIElement object. For example, a photo viewing application might allow users to move, zoom, resize, and rotate a photo.

By default, a UIElement does not receive the ManipulationStarted event. To receive this event, set IsManipulationEnabled to true.

Platforms

Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP SP2, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003

The .NET Framework and .NET Compact Framework do not support all versions of every platform. For a list of the supported versions, see .NET Framework System Requirements.
