An enumeration that specifies a hint to the rendering engine that text can be rendered with ClearType.

Members

Member nameDescription
AutoThe rendering engine uses ClearType when it is possible. If opacity is introduced, ClearType is disabled for that subtree.
EnabledThe rendering engine re-enables ClearType for the current subtree. Where opacity is introduced in this subtree, ClearType is disabled.
Remarks

Use the RenderOptions..::.ClearTypeHint attached property to control how text is rendered on a translucent background. For more information, see RenderOptions..::.ClearTypeHint.

Platforms

Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP SP2, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003
