.NET Framework 4.5

[This documentation is for preview only, and is subject to change in later releases. Blank topics are included as placeholders.]

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the HwndHost can render the content of the Win32 window and share screen space with WPF UIs.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Interop
Assembly:  PresentationFramework (in PresentationFramework.dll)
XMLNS for XAML: Not mapped to an xmlns.
public bool IsRedirected { get; set; }
<object IsRedirected="bool" .../>

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the HwndHost can render the content of the Win32 window and share screen space with WPF UIs; otherwise, false.

If IsRedirected is true, you can use a VisualBrush to display the contents of the HwndHost. You must set this property before the Win32 window is created. You cannot change the value of IsRedirected after the window is built. If IsRedirected is false, the CompositionMode property is coerced to None.
