ContextNode.GetPropertyData Method

Returns application-specific data that was added with the specified identifier.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Ink
Assembly:  IAWinFX (in IAWinFX.dll)

public Object GetPropertyData(
	Guid propertyDataId
)

Parameters

propertyDataId
Type: System.Guid

The identifier for the data.

Return Value

Type: System.Object
The application-specific data that was added with the specified identifier.

In addition to application-specific data, you can also use this method to get internal data previously stored with the identifiers described by the PropertyGuidsForAnalysisHints and PropertyGuidsForContextNodes classes.

This example looks for a property added with the Guid named timeStampGuid. It then adds the value into the Content property of a Label named timeStampLabel.

if (inkWord.ContainsPropertyData(this.timeStampGuid))
{
    DateTime timeStamp =
        (DateTime)inkWord.GetPropertyData(this.timeStampGuid);
    timeStampLabel.Content = timeStamp.ToShortTimeString();
}
