TreeView.NodeMouseClick Event

Note: This event is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Occurs when the user clicks a TreeNode with the mouse.

Namespace: System.Windows.Forms
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in system.windows.forms.dll)

public event TreeNodeMouseClickEventHandler NodeMouseClick
/** @event */
public void add_NodeMouseClick (TreeNodeMouseClickEventHandler value)

/** @event */
public void remove_NodeMouseClick (TreeNodeMouseClickEventHandler value)

JScript supports the use of events, but not the declaration of new ones.

This event occurs when the user clicks any portion of a tree node with the mouse, including the plus sign (+) or minus sign (-) that indicates whether the node is collapsed or expanded.

For more information about handling events, see Consuming Events.

The following code example demonstrates how to handle the NodeMouseClick event.

void treeView1_NodeMouseClick(object sender,
    TreeNodeMouseClickEventArgs e)
{
    textBox1.Text = e.Node.Text;
}
