Menu.MenuItemCollection Methods

The Menu.MenuItemCollection type exposes the following members.

  Name Description
Public method Add(MenuItem) Adds a previously created MenuItem to the end of the current menu.
Public method Add(String) Adds a new MenuItem, to the end of the current menu, with a specified caption.
Public method Add(Int32, MenuItem) Adds a previously created MenuItem at the specified index within the menu item collection.
Public method Add(String, EventHandler) Adds a new MenuItem to the end of the current menu with a specified caption and a specified event handler for the Click event.
Public method Add(String, MenuItem[]) Adds a new MenuItem to the end of this menu with the specified caption, Click event handler, and items.
Public method AddRange Adds an array of previously created MenuItem objects to the collection.
Public method Clear Removes all MenuItem objects from the menu item collection.
Public method Contains Determines if the specified MenuItem is a member of the collection.
Public method ContainsKey Determines whether the collection contains an item with the specified key.
Public method CopyTo Copies the entire collection into an existing array at a specified location within the array.
Public method Equals(Object) Determines whether the specified object is equal to the current object. (Inherited from Object.)
Protected method Finalize Allows an object to try to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before it is reclaimed by garbage collection. (Inherited from Object.)
Public method Find Finds the items with the specified key, optionally searching the submenu items
Public method GetEnumerator Returns an enumerator that can be used to iterate through the menu item collection.
Public method GetHashCode Serves as a hash function for a particular type. (Inherited from Object.)
Public method GetType Gets the Type of the current instance. (Inherited from Object.)
Public method IndexOf Retrieves the index of a specific item in the collection.
Public method IndexOfKey Finds the index of the first occurrence of a menu item with the specified key.
Protected method MemberwiseClone Creates a shallow copy of the current Object. (Inherited from Object.)
Public method Remove Removes the specified MenuItem from the menu item collection.
Public method RemoveAt Removes a MenuItem from the menu item collection at a specified index.
Public method RemoveByKey Removes the menu item with the specified key from the collection.
