ListView::ListViewItemCollection::Find Method

Searches for items whose name matches the specified key, optionally searching subitems.

	String^ key, 
	bool searchAllSubItems
)

Parameters

key
Type: System::String

The item name to search for.

searchAllSubItems
Type: System::Boolean

true to search subitems; otherwise, false.

Return Value

Type: array<System.Windows.Forms::ListViewItem>
An array of ListViewItem objects containing the matching items, or an empty array if no items matched.

The key comparison is not case-sensitive. The Name property corresponds to the key for a ListViewItem in the ListView::ListViewItemCollection.

.NET Framework Client Profile

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1

Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core Role not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core Role supported with SP1 or later; Itanium not supported)
