ListView.ListViewItemCollection.Find Method

Searches for items whose name matches the specified key, optionally searching subitems.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Forms
Assembly:  System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)
public ListViewItem[] Find(
	string key,
	bool searchAllSubItems
)

Parameters

key
Type: System.String

The item name to search for.

searchAllSubItems
Type: System.Boolean

true to search subitems; otherwise, false.

Return Value

Type: System.Windows.Forms.ListViewItem[]
An array of type ListViewItem.

The key comparison is not case-sensitive. The Name property corresponds to the key for a ListViewItem in the ListView.ListViewItemCollection.
