ListView.ItemChecked Event

Occurs when the checked state of an item changes.

Namespace: System.Windows.Forms
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in system.windows.forms.dll)

public event ItemCheckedEventHandler ItemChecked
/** @event */
public void add_ItemChecked (ItemCheckedEventHandler value)

/** @event */
public void remove_ItemChecked (ItemCheckedEventHandler value)

In JScript, you can handle the events defined by a class, but you cannot define your own.
Not applicable.

For more information about handling events, see Consuming Events.

The following code example demonstrates the use of this member. In the example, an event handler reports on the occurrence of the ItemChecked event. This report helps you to learn when the event occurs and can assist you in debugging. To report on multiple events or on events that occur frequently, consider replacing System.Windows.Forms.MessageBox.Show with System.Console.WriteLine or appending the message to a multiline TextBox.

For another example, see the ItemCheck event. The code there works equally well if the event handler is attached to the ItemChecked event.

To run this example code, paste it into a project that contains an instance of type ListView named ListView1. Then ensure that the event handler is associated with the ItemChecked event.

private void ListView1_ItemChecked(Object sender, ItemCheckedEventArgs e) {

System.Text.StringBuilder messageBoxCS = new System.Text.StringBuilder();
messageBoxCS.AppendFormat("{0} = {1}", "Item", e.Item );
messageBoxCS.AppendLine();
MessageBox.Show(messageBoxCS.ToString(), "ItemChecked Event" );
}
