Form.OnFormClosed Method

Raises the FormClosed event.

Namespace: System.Windows.Forms
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in system.windows.forms.dll)

protected virtual void OnFormClosed (
	FormClosedEventArgs e
)
protected void OnFormClosed (
	FormClosedEventArgs e
)
protected function OnFormClosed (
	e : FormClosedEventArgs
)
Not applicable.

Parameters

e

A FormClosedEventArgs that contains the event data.

The OnFormClosing method removes the current form from the OpenForms collection of the associated Application.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The OnFormClosed method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. Overriding this method is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors: When overriding OnFormClosed in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnFormClosed method so that registered delegates receive the event.
