ControlDesigner.OnMouseDragBegin Method

Receives a call in response to the left mouse button being pressed and held while over the component.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Forms.Design
Assembly:  System.Design (in System.Design.dll)
protected virtual void OnMouseDragBegin(
	int x,
	int y
)

Parameters

x
Type: System.Int32
The x position of the mouse in screen coordinates.
y
Type: System.Int32
The y position of the mouse in screen coordinates.

This method is called at the start of a drag-and-drop operation.

Note Note

You can pass a point in screen coordinates to the PointToClient method of the Control class to obtain the coordinates of the point relative to the upper-left corner of the control.
