DateTimePicker.OnFontChanged Method

This method supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Raises the FontChanged event.

Namespace: System.Windows.Forms
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in system.windows.forms.dll)

protected override void OnFontChanged (
	EventArgs e
)
protected void OnFontChanged (
	EventArgs e
)
protected override function OnFontChanged (
	e : EventArgs
)
Not applicable.

Parameters

e

An EventArgs that contains the event data.

Return Value

The DateTimePicker control automatically recalculates its height to fit the new font.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The OnFontChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors: When overriding OnFontChanged in a derived class, be sure to call the base class’s OnFontChanged method so that registered delegates receive the event.
