DataGridView.OnRowStateChanged Method
Raises the RowStateChanged event.
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)
protected virtual void OnRowStateChanged( int rowIndex, DataGridViewRowStateChangedEventArgs e )
Parameters
- rowIndex
- Type: System.Int32
The index of the row that is changing state.
- e
- Type: System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewRowStateChangedEventArgs
A DataGridViewRowStateChangedEventArgs that contains the event data.
| Exception | Condition |
|---|---|
| InvalidCastException | The row changed from read-only to read/write, enabling the current cell to enter edit mode, but the EditType property of the current cell does not indicate a class that derives from Control and implements IDataGridViewEditingControl. |
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.
The OnRowStateChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to InheritorsWhen overriding OnRowStateChanged in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnRowStateChanged method so that registered delegates receive the event.
