DataGridView.OnForeColorChanged Method

Raises the ForeColorChanged event.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Forms
Assembly:  System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)

protected override void OnForeColorChanged(
	EventArgs e
)

Parameters

e
Type: System.EventArgs
An EventArgs that contains the event data.

In addition to raising the FontChanged event, this method uses the new value of the ForeColor property to update the ForeColor property of DataGridViewCellStyle returned by the DefaultCellStyle property.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The OnForeColorChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnForeColorChanged in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnForeColorChanged method so that registered delegates receive the event.
