DataGridView.ColumnWidthChanged Event

Occurs when the value of the Width property for a column changes.

Namespace: System.Windows.Forms
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in system.windows.forms.dll)

public event DataGridViewColumnEventHandler ColumnWidthChanged
/** @event */
public void add_ColumnWidthChanged (DataGridViewColumnEventHandler value)

/** @event */
public void remove_ColumnWidthChanged (DataGridViewColumnEventHandler value)

In JScript, you can handle the events defined by a class, but you cannot define your own.
Not applicable.

For more information about handling events, see Consuming Events.

The following code example illustrates the use of this event. This example is part of a larger example available in How to: Customize the Appearance of Rows in the Windows Forms DataGridView Control.

// Forces the control to repaint itself when the user
// manually changes the width of a column.
void dataGridView1_ColumnWidthChanged(object sender,
    DataGridViewColumnEventArgs e)
{
    this.dataGridView1.Invalidate();
