Notes to Inheritors When overriding the ShowFocusCues property in a derived class, use the base class's ShowFocusCues property to extend the base implementation. Otherwise, you must provide all the implementation.

Windows 2000, Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows Server 2003 Platform Note: Setting the ShowFocusCues property to true causes controls to conform to the Windows 2000 behavior that hides focus cues until the user performs a keyboard action.
