Control.PreProcessControlMessage Method

Preprocesses keyboard or input messages within the message loop before they are dispatched.

Parameters

msg
Type: System.Windows.Forms.Message

A Message that represents the message to process.

Return Value

Type: System.Windows.Forms.PreProcessControlState
One of the PreProcessControlState values, depending on whether PreProcessMessage is true or false and whether IsInputKey or IsInputChar are true or false.

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1

Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core Role not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core Role supported with SP1 or later; Itanium not supported)
