ListCollectionView.Contains Method

Returns a value that indicates whether a given item belongs to the collection view.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Data
Assembly:  PresentationFramework (in PresentationFramework.dll)
public override bool Contains(
	Object item
)

Parameters

item
Type: System.Object

The object to check.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the item belongs to the collection view; otherwise, false.

Implements

ICollectionView.Contains(Object)

This method does not make any assumptions about whether the item belongs to the underlying collection. If you know that the item belongs to the underlying collection, it is more efficient to call PassesFilter.
