DataSourceProvider..::.IsInitialLoadEnabled Property

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether to prevent or delay the automatic loading of data.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Data
Assembly:  WindowsBase (in WindowsBase.dll)
XMLNS for XAML: Not mapped to an xmlns.
Visual Basic (Declaration)
Public Property IsInitialLoadEnabled As Boolean
Visual Basic (Usage)

Dim value As Boolean

instance.IsInitialLoadEnabled = value
C#
public bool IsInitialLoadEnabled { get; set; }
Visual C++
public:
property bool IsInitialLoadEnabled {
    bool get ();
    void set (bool value);
}
JScript
public function get IsInitialLoadEnabled () : boolean
public function set IsInitialLoadEnabled (value : boolean)
XAML Attribute Usage
<object IsInitialLoadEnabled="bool" .../>

Property Value

Type: System..::.Boolean
false to prevent or delay the automatic loading of data; otherwise, true. The default value is true.

Typically the DataSourceProvider runs its query and sets its Data property the first time it is used by a binding or a CollectionViewSource. You can omit this step by setting the IsInitialLoadEnabled property to false. In this case, the application must explicitly call Refresh to cause the provider to obtain its data.

Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP SP2, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003

The .NET Framework and .NET Compact Framework do not support all versions of every platform. For a list of the supported versions, see .NET Framework System Requirements.

.NET Framework

Supported in: 3.5, 3.0
