ViewBase.GetAutomationPeer Method

Is called when a ListView control creates a ListViewAutomationPeer for its View.

Parameters

parent
Type: System.Windows.Controls.ListView
The ListView control to use to create the ListViewAutomationPeer.

Return Value

Type: System.Windows.Automation.Peers.IViewAutomationPeer
The IViewAutomationPeer interface that implements the ListViewAutomationPeer for a custom View.

The ListViewAutomationPeer first uses the properties and AutomationPattern objects that are implemented by the specified view, before using the default properties and patterns that are defined for a ListView control.
