InkCanvas.GetLeft Method

Gets the value of the InkCanvas.Left attached property for a given dependency object.

Parameters

element
Type: System.Windows.UIElement

The element of which to get the left property.

Return Value

Type: System.Double
The left coordinate of the dependency object.

The following example demonstrates how to get the position of a Button.

double buttonLeft = InkCanvas.GetLeft(button1);
