GridSplitter.ResizeDirection Property
Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the GridSplitter control resizes rows or columns. This is a dependency property.

Property Value
Type: System.Windows.Controls.GridResizeDirectionOne of the enumeration values that specifies whether to resize rows or columns. The default is GridResizeDirection.Auto.
To specify a GridSplitter that resizes rows or columns, set the HorizontalAlignment and VerticalAlignment properties. If you cannot achieve the desired behavior by setting the HorizontalAlignment and VerticalAlignment properties, change the ResizeDirection or ResizeBehavior default values. The following example shows how to set the ResizeDirection property.
