DataGridColumn.IsReadOnly Property

[This documentation is for preview only, and is subject to change in later releases. Blank topics are included as placeholders.]

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether cells in the column can be edited.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Controls
Assembly:  PresentationFramework (in PresentationFramework.dll)
XMLNS for XAML: http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation, http://schemas.microsoft.com/netfx/2007/xaml/presentation
public bool IsReadOnly { get; set; }
<object IsReadOnly="bool" .../>

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if cells in the column cannot be edited; otherwise, false. The registered default is false. For information about what can influence the value, see DependencyProperty.

Set the IsReadOnly property to true to make all cells in an individual column read-only. Set the DataGrid.IsReadOnly property to true to make all cells in the DataGrid read-only. Set the DataGridCell.IsReadOnly property to true to make an individual cell read-only. If a conflict exists between the settings at the DataGrid, column, or cell levels, a value of true takes precedence over a value of false.
