DataGrid.CanUserDeleteRows Property

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the user can delete rows from the DataGrid.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Controls
Assembly:  PresentationFramework (in PresentationFramework.dll)
XMLNS for XAML: http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation, http://schemas.microsoft.com/netfx/2007/xaml/presentation

public bool CanUserDeleteRows { get; set; }
<object CanUserDeleteRows="bool" .../>

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the user can delete rows; otherwise, false. The registered default is true. For more information about what can influence the value, see DependencyProperty.

By default, the user can delete rows by selecting one or more rows and pressing the DELETE key. Deleting a row removes the item that the row represents from the ItemsSource. If the ItemsSource does not allow deletions, the user cannot delete rows even if this property is set to true.
