Control.ToString Method

Returns the string representation of a Control object.

Return Value

Type: System.String
A string that represents the control.

Control authors should override this method to return a string that contains information that would be of interest to consumers of the control.

Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
