ContentElement.PreviewDragOver Event

Occurs when the input system reports an underlying drag event with this element as the potential drop target.

Namespace: System.Windows
Assembly: PresentationCore (in presentationcore.dll)
XML Namespace:  http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation

public event DragEventHandler PreviewDragOver
/** @event */
public void add_PreviewDragOver (DragEventHandler value)

/** @event */
public void remove_PreviewDragOver (DragEventHandler value)

In JScript, you can handle the events defined by a class, but you cannot define your own.
<object PreviewDragOver="DragEventHandler" .../>

Identifier field

PreviewDragOverEvent

Routing strategy

Tunneling

Delegate

DragEventHandler

  • The corresponding bubbling event is DragOver.

  • Override OnPreviewDragOver to implement class handling for this event in derived classes.

This event creates an alias for the DragDrop.PreviewDragOver attached event for this class, so that PreviewDragOver is part of the class members list when ContentElement is inherited as a base element. Event handlers that are attached to the PreviewDragOver event are attached to the underlying DragDrop.PreviewDragOver attached event and receive the same event data instance.
