Gets the value of the control.

Property Value

Type: System.Double
The value of the control or null (Nothing in Microsoft Visual Basic .NET) if the control does not support Value.

The following example shows an implementation of this method for a custom control. For the purposes of this sample, the custom control displays the value through the alpha setting of its base color.
