AutomationElement.RuntimeIdProperty Field

Identifies the property that contains the runtime identifier of the element.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Automation
Assembly:  UIAutomationClient (in UIAutomationClient.dll)
public static readonly AutomationProperty RuntimeIdProperty

This identifier is used by UI Automation client applications. UI Automation providers should use the equivalent identifier in AutomationElementIdentifiers.

The runtime ID property specifies an ID for an AutomationElement that is unique on the desktop.

The return value of the property is an array of type Int32. There is no default value.

The following example retrieves the current value of the property.

int[] runtimeIdentifier = (int[])
