WebPartManager.Controls Property

Gets the collection of all WebPart, server, or user controls that are contained in WebPartZoneBase zones on a Web page and are managed by the WebPartManager control.

Namespace:  System.Web.UI.WebControls.WebParts
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)
public override ControlCollection Controls { get; }

Property Value

Type: System.Web.UI.ControlCollection
A ControlCollection that contains all controls managed by the WebPartManager control.

The Controls property does not reference the other controls that are referenced by the WebPartManager control, such as the various zone controls, EditorPart or CatalogPart controls, and others.

This property is used by the Web Parts control set, and in most development situations it is not intended to be called from your code. For this reason, although the property is public, it is hidden from IntelliSense. Developers who want to access the collection of WebPart or other server controls managed by the WebPartManager control should use its WebParts property.
