Gets or sets a value indicating whether validation is performed when the TextBox control is set to validate when a postback occurs.
Assembly: System.Web (in System.Web.dll)
Use the property to determine whether validation is performed on both the client and the server when a TextBox control is set to validate when a postback occurs. Page validation determines whether the input controls associated with a validation control on the page all pass the validation rules specified by the validation control.
By default, a TextBox control does not cause page validation when the control loses focus. To set the TextBox control to validate when a postback occurs, set the property to true and the AutoPostBack property to true.
