The text displayed when the user name entered by the user is not a valid user name for the Web site. The default is "We were unable to access your information. Please try again."
The property contains the error message that is displayed when the user enters a user name that is not recognized by the membership provider defined in the MembershipProvider property.
The style settings in the FailureTextStyle property define the appearance of the text in the property.
The default text for the property is localized based on the server's locale setting.
The value of this property, when set, can be saved automatically to a resource file by using a designer tool. For more information, see LocalizableAttribute and ASP.NET Globalization and Localization.
The following code example sets the property to "We couldn't find that user name. Please try again."
