LoginFailureAction Enumeration
.NET Framework 4.5
Determines the page that the user will go to when a login attempt is not successful.
Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in System.Web.dll)
The following code example demonstrates using the LoginFailureAction enumeration to set the FailureAction property to redirect the user to the login page defined in the Web.config file when a login attempt fails.
<%@ Page Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="False"%> <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <script runat="server"> void Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) { Login1.FailureAction = LoginFailureAction.RedirectToLoginPage; } </script> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" > <head runat="server"> <title>ASP.NET Example</title> </head> <body> <form id="form1" runat="server"> <asp:Login id="Login1" runat="server" FailureAction="RedirectToLoginPage"></asp:Login> </form> </body> </html>
