Parameters

e
Type: System.EventArgs
An EventArgs that contains event data.
Remarks

The OnTextChanged method is called by the control that is derived from the ListControl class to raise the TextChanged event. Generally, the OnTextChanged method is used by control developers when extending the ListControl class.

The OnTextChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding the OnTextChanged method in a derived class, be sure to call the OnTextChanged method for the base class so that registered delegates receive the event.
