Gets or sets a value that indicates whether data records can be deleted through the LinqDataSource control.
Assembly: System.Web.Extensions (in System.Web.Extensions.dll)
abstract EnableDelete : bool with get, set override EnableDelete : bool with get, set
Property ValueType: System.Boolean
true if automatic delete operations are enabled; otherwise, false. The default value is false.
Set the property to true when you want to enable users to delete a data record through the LinqDataSource control. When is true, the LinqDataSource control uses LINQ to SQL to automatically create the command to delete the data. You must include an interface that lets users select a record to delete, such as a DetailsView control.
The LinqDataSource control does not support automatic delete operations when the Select property or the GroupBy property is set. In that case, the LinqDataSource control throws an exception if a delete operation is tried.
