GridView.PerformDataBinding Method

Note: This method is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

This method supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Binds the specified data source to the GridView control.

Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)

protected internal override function PerformDataBinding (
	data : IEnumerable
)

Parameters

data

An IEnumerable that contains the data source.

The PerformDataBinding method is a helper method called by the GridView control to bind the specified data source to the control.

Notes to Inheritors Because the DataBind method is sealed, you should override this method if you need to perform any additional tasks when binding data.
