FormView.RaisePostBackEvent Method

Raises the appropriate events for the FormView control when it posts back to the server.

Parameters

eventArgument
Type: System.String

The event argument from which to create a CommandEventArgs for the event or events that are raised.

The page calls the RaisePostBackEvent method when a postback event occurs that raises the appropriate events for a FormView control. This call occurs in the page life cycle after loading and change notification are complete, but before prerendering occurs. This method has been implemented to create a CommandEventArgs object for the events that are raised.

This method is used primarily by control developers to extend the FormView control.
