DetailsView.OnPageIndexChanged Method

Raises the PageIndexChanged event.

Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)

protected virtual void OnPageIndexChanged (
	EventArgs e
)
protected void OnPageIndexChanged (
	EventArgs e
)
protected function OnPageIndexChanged (
	e : EventArgs
)
Not applicable.

Parameters

e

An EventArgs that contains the event data.

The OnPageIndexChanged method is called by the DetailsView control to raise the PageIndexChanged event. It is generally used by control developers when extending the DetailsView class.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The OnPageIndexChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors: When overriding OnPageIndexChanged in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnPageIndexChanged method so that registered delegates receive the event.
