DetailsView.OnModeChanged Method

Raises the ModeChanged event.

Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)

protected virtual void OnModeChanged (
	EventArgs e
)
protected void OnModeChanged (
	EventArgs e
)
protected function OnModeChanged (
	e : EventArgs
)
Not applicable.

Parameters

e

An EventArgs that contains the event data.

The OnModeChanged method is called by the DetailsView control to raise the ModeChanged event. It is generally used by control developers when extending the DetailsView class.

The OnModeChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors: When overriding OnModeChanged in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnModeChanged method so that registered delegates receive the event.
