DetailsView.OnDataSourceViewChanged Method

Note: This method is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

This method supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Raises the DataSourceViewChanged event.

Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)

protected override void OnDataSourceViewChanged (
	Object sender,
	EventArgs e
)
protected void OnDataSourceViewChanged (
	Object sender,
	EventArgs e
)
protected override function OnDataSourceViewChanged (
	sender : Object,
	e : EventArgs
)

Parameters

sender

The source of the event.

e

An EventArgs that contains the event data.

The OnDataSourceViewChanged method is called by the DetailsView control to raise the DataSourceViewChanged event. It is generally used by control developers when extending the DetailsView class.

The OnDataSourceViewChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors When overriding OnDataSourceViewChanged in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnDataSourceViewChanged method so that registered delegates receive the event.

The .NET Framework does not support all versions of every platform. For a list of the supported versions, see System Requirements.
