DataGridPageChangedEventHandler Delegate

Represents the method that will handle the PageIndexChanged event of the DataGrid control.

[Visual Basic]
<Serializable>
Public Delegate Sub DataGridPageChangedEventHandler( _
   ByVal source As Object, _
   ByVal e As DataGridPageChangedEventArgs _
)
[C#]
[Serializable]
public delegate void DataGridPageChangedEventHandler(
   object source,
   DataGridPageChangedEventArgs e
);
[C++]
[Serializable]
public __gc __delegate void DataGridPageChangedEventHandler(
   Object* source,
   DataGridPageChangedEventArgs* e
);

[JScript] In JScript, you can use the delegates in the .NET Framework, but you cannot define your own.

Parameters [Visual Basic, C#, C++]

The declaration of your event handler must have the same parameters as the DataGridPageChangedEventHandler delegate declaration.

source
The source of the event.
e
A DataGridPageChangedEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

The PageIndexChanged event is raised when a button in the page selection element of the DataGrid control is clicked.

When you create a DataGridPageChangedEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate. For more information about event handler delegates, see Events and Delegates.

Example

[Visual Basic, C#] The following example demonstrates how to specify and code a handler for the PageIndexChanged event. It displays pages on the DataGrid control in 10-item increments.

         ' Define the columns of the table.
         dt.Columns.Add(new DataColumn("IntegerValue", GetType(Int32)))
         dt.Columns.Add(new DataColumn("StringValue", GetType(String)))
         dt.Columns.Add(new DataColumn("CurrencyValue", GetType(Double)))

         ' Populate the table with sample values.
         Dim i As Integer
