Use the FooterText property to add notes or comments to a data control field, or for other data related to the field.

Some data-bound controls do not render a footer item for a data control field. For example, the DetailsView control displays its data control fields as rows. A footer item is not rendered for these data control fields. The FooterStyle property is ignored in these controls. |
