Gets or sets the name of the list of data that the data-bound control binds to, in cases where the data source contains more than one distinct list of data items.

Property Value

Type: System..::.String
The name of the specific list of data that the data-bound control binds to, if more than one list is supplied by a data source control. The default value is String..::.Empty.

The value of the DataMember property is stored in view state.

This property cannot be set by themes or style sheet themes. For more information, see ThemeableAttribute and ASP.NET Themes and Skins Overview.
