CheckBoxList.RepeatLayout Property

Gets or sets the layout of the check boxes.

Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)

public virtual RepeatLayout RepeatLayout { get; set; }
/** @property */
public RepeatLayout get_RepeatLayout ()

/** @property */
public void set_RepeatLayout (RepeatLayout value)

public function get RepeatLayout () : RepeatLayout

public function set RepeatLayout (value : RepeatLayout)

Not applicable.

Property Value

One of the RepeatLayout values. The default is Table.

Exception typeCondition

ArgumentOutOfRangeException

The specified layout is not one of the RepeatLayout values.

Use this property to specify whether the items in the CheckBoxList control are displayed in a table. If this property is set to RepeatLayout.Table, the items in the list are displayed in a table. If this property is set to RepeatLayout.Flow, the items in the list are displayed without a table structure.

The following code example demonstrates how to use the RepeatLayout property to display the CheckBoxList control without a table structure.

NoteNote:

The following code samples use the single-file code model and may not work correctly if copied directly into a code-behind file. Each code sample must be copied into an empty text file that has an .aspx extension. For more information on the Web Forms code model, see ASP.NET Web Page Code Model.
