UpdateProgress.Render Method

Writes the rendered content of the UpdateProgress control to the browser by using the supplied HtmlTextWriter object.

Parameters

writer
Type: System.Web.UI.HtmlTextWriter

An object that represents the output stream for rendering HTML content.

The Render method is used by control developers to extend the functionality of the UpdateProgress control.

The Render method writes the rendered content of the UpdateProgress control to the browser by using the supplied HtmlTextWriter object. When you override the Render method in a derived class, call the base class's Render method so that the child controls of the UpdateProgress control are rendered.
