PageParserFilter.AllowVirtualReference Method

Determines whether a parser permits a virtual reference to a specific type of resource on a page.

	string referenceVirtualPath,
	VirtualReferenceType referenceType
)

Parameters

referenceVirtualPath
Type: System.String

The virtual path to a resource, such as a master page file, ASP.NET page, or user control.

referenceType
Type: System.Web.UI.VirtualReferenceType

A VirtualReferenceType value that identifies the type of resource.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the parser permits a virtual reference to a specific type of resource; otherwise, false.

The TemplateParser class determines whether a particular type of resource can be referenced from a page.

Supported in: 4.5, 4, 3.5, 3.0, 2.0

Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core Role not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core Role supported with SP1 or later; Itanium not supported)
