MobileControl.GetAttribute Method

Retrieves the specified attribute property from the control. This API is obsolete. For information about how to develop ASP.NET mobile applications, see the www.asp.net/mobile Web site.

Parameters

name
Type: System.String

A String that specifies the name of the server control attribute.

Return Value

Type: System.String
A String representing the value of the specified attribute; if no attribute with the specified name exists, then a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

The GetAttribute method returns attributes stored in the CustomAttributes property. If CustomAttributes is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic), then GetAttribute will also return a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).
