MobileControl.CreateTemplatedUI Method

Called by base classes to create a templated UI. This API is obsolete. For information about how to develop ASP.NET mobile applications, see the www.asp.net/mobile Web site.

Namespace:  System.Web.UI.MobileControls
Assembly:  System.Web.Mobile (in System.Web.Mobile.dll)
protected virtual void CreateTemplatedUI(
	bool doDataBind
)

Parameters

doDataBind
Type: System.Boolean

Returns true if the instantiated templates bind to available data (which usually happens on the first request). Returns false if the templates do not bind to data, and instead rely on view state to fill them in (which usually happens on subsequent postbacks).

The default implementation calls the CreateTemplatedUI method of the corresponding control adapter, which can in turn call back the control's CreateDefaultTemplatedUI method or create its own device-specific templated UI.
