Gets a value indicating whether the membership provider is configured to require a unique e-mail address for each user name.

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the membership provider requires a unique e-mail address; otherwise, false. The default is true.
Remarks

The RequiresUniqueEmail property indicates whether users must supply a unique e-mail address value when creating a user. If a user already exists in the data source for the current ApplicationName, then the CreateUser method returns null and a status value of DuplicateEmail.
